CROSS CERTIFICATION FOR DOULAS

This cross-certification course is designed for doulas who have previously completed Birth and/or Postpartum Doula training whether through Doulas Institute or another reputable institution. It offers an opportunity to consolidate your knowledge, expand your scope of practice, and gain an official certification through Doulas Institute LLC.

Requirements

To enroll, applicants must submit:

Proof of previous Birth and/or Postpartum Doula training
Any related certifications or service references

This course is valid for Birth Doulas, Postpartum Doulas, or those trained in both fields.

Curriculum

Labor & Birth: Stages of Labor, Hospital & Home Birth, Coping Techniques, Foundations in Pregnancy Anatomy, Prenatal Support

Postpartum: Advanced Postpartum Care, Family Support, Newborn Care, Nutrition, and Recovery

Lactation & Sleep: Basic Breastfeeding Troubleshooting, Infant Sleep Patterns

Doula Role: Scope of Practice, Community Resources, Doula Care Standards

Business Essentials: Contracts, Liability Terms, Invoicing, Receipts, and Payment Processing

Insurance & Benefits: Navigating reimbursements, beneficiary programs, and the value of business licensing

FEES
The investment for the Cross Certification for Doulas workshop is $300, one time fee only.
All students has two free mentoring sections that can be used within 2 months after taking the training.
Fees automatically include certificate of compleition. After payment the candidate has one year to complete the course, no refunds, no returns or transferring allowed.
