Postpartum Doula

A Postpartum Doula is a professional who provides in home or hospital care also physical and emotional support to families after childbirth known as postpartum period or the 4th Trimester. A postpartum doula will offer care for the child and the parents, knowledge and evidence information so parents can feel confident about the arrival of their new human.

Program
The Postpartum Doula certification program prepares you for a beautiful career as a Postpartum Doula. Our curriculum prepares doulas to support all families during the Fourth Trimester. Included in the class we also provide business tips and skills learning for our students to start working right after class.
The classes are hosted in person, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

STEPS FOR DOULA CERTIFICATION
1. Take Postpartum Doula Class
2. Provide postpartum doula support for two families
3. Interview two postpartum doulas
4. Complete the required reading and write a short essay about what you've learned from one of the books.

FEES
The investment for the postpartum doula class is $850, one time fee only. Non- refundable.
All students has three free mentoring sessions that can be used within 3 months after taking the training.
Fees automatically include certification and mentoring sessions. After payment the candidate has one year to complete the course, no refunds, no returns or transferring allowed.
